Dr Ashok Kumar Singh is a General Physician and Diabetologist, practicing at Buddha Medical & Healthcare Centre, Gaya. He got MBBS from NMCH, Patna and MD from DMCH, Darbhanga. He was awarded P. G Diploma in Diabetes & Renal Management by EACME & Royal College of Physicians, UK.
Dr A. K. Singh is a Life Member of several Medical Associations and Societies like IMA, IMA College of GP, CCDSI, RSSDI
He is trained in the Management of Lifestyle Diseases at Apollo Hospital Lifestyle Unit, Hyderabad. His research papers are published in several National and International Journals.

Dr Ashok Kumar Singh with the help of his wife Mrs Sunita Singh founded Buddha Medical & Healthcare Centre in November 2001 at Lal Kothi Compound, Gaya, Bihar as a franchise of Apollo Hospital Lifestyle Unit Hyderabad. Later on the Centre has grown as an independent Primary Medical care Centre.
